Helping Dreams Take Flight is a new independent charity, founded by The Flyer Watch Company, with one clear mission:

To remove barriers and create opportunities for individuals pursuing a future in aviation, aerospace, and engineering.

We believe aviation should be open to everyone—regardless of background, personal circumstances, or physical ability. Through scholarships, bursaries, and partnerships, we aim to support the next generation of aviators, engineers, and enthusiasts across the UK, Australia, and beyond.

What We Do

Helping Dreams Take Flight is a Foundation Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), operating independently from The Flyer Watch Company, but proudly supported by it. The charity is entirely focused on charitable giving and long-term impact.

Our activities include:

Awarding scholarships and bursaries to individuals from all walks of life—whether for gliding, PPL training, commercial aviation, aerospace engineering, or related disciplines.
Supporting individuals with disabilities in achieving their aviation dreams through partnerships with organisations such as Aerobility.
Making restricted donations to like-minded charities and organisations abroad, including in Australia, ensuring funds are used for clearly defined charitable purposes.
Working with respected organisations like The Air League, The Honourable Company of Air Pilots, and Recreational Aviation Australia.

We are committed to being transparent in all our charitable activities. Our goal is simple: to help more people, in more places, take their first steps into aviation.

Our Funding

The Flyer Watch Company commits 20% of its profits to supporting charitable causes through Helping Dreams Take Flight. By purchasing a watch, you’re not only investing in quality craftsmanship—but helping someone, somewhere, get closer to their dream of flight.

Independent & Trustee-Led

Helping Dreams Take Flight is governed by an independent Board of Trustees, who ensure all funding decisions are made responsibly and in line with our charitable aims. The charity is completely separate from the business and focused solely on making a positive impact through aviation.
